1. About Rally Point 1776

Rally Point 1776 is an online community and classified listing platform designed to connect reenactors, collectors, organizations, historical enthusiasts, and related communities.

The Platform provides tools for users to:

Create and browse classified advertisements.
Connect with other users and organizations.
Access subscription-based services and platform features.

Rally Point 1776 provides a digital platform only and does not act as a buyer, seller, dealer, broker, agent, marketplace intermediary, or transaction facilitator for items listed by users.

2. Business Model and Services

Rally Point 1776 does not sell merchandise, equipment, collectibles, firearms, parts, historical items, or any other physical goods listed by users on the Platform.

Rally Point 1776 generates revenue through subscription-based services, advertising services, and other platform-related services.

Examples of paid services may include:

Group or organization subscriptions.
Verified account or directory services.
Advertising placements.
Business or organizational promotional services.
Other subscription-based platform features.

Subscription fees provide access to platform features and services only. Payment of a subscription does not represent the purchase of any item listed on the Platform.

3. Classified Listings and User Transactions

Rally Point 1776 provides classified listing functionality that allows users to advertise items, services, and opportunities.

All transactions initiated through classified listings occur strictly between the individual parties involved.

Rally Point 1776:

Does not sell listed items.
Does not purchase listed items.
Does not negotiate transactions.
Does not collect payment for items.
Does not hold money in escrow.
Does not process payments between buyers and sellers.
Does not ship items.
Does not transfer ownership of items.
Does not arrange private transactions between users.
Does not guarantee completion of any transaction.

Any agreement, payment arrangement, exchange of goods, shipping arrangement, transfer of ownership, or other transaction obligation exists solely between the buyer and seller.

Users acknowledge that Rally Point 1776 is not a party to any transaction conducted between users.

4. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

The accuracy and legality of their listings.
Verifying the identity and reliability of other users.
Determining whether a transaction is lawful.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Completing all required documentation or transfer procedures.
Confirming ownership rights before selling items.
Ensuring items are legally transferable.

Users agree not to use Rally Point 1776 to conduct unlawful activities or facilitate prohibited transactions.

5. Regulated Items and Legal Compliance

Certain categories of items may be subject to additional laws, regulations, licensing requirements, or transfer restrictions.

Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable requirements related to any item they list, purchase, sell, transfer, or receive.

For regulated items, including but not limited to firearms, firearm-related items, controlled equipment, or restricted goods:

Users must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Users are responsible for determining whether a licensed transfer, documentation, or additional legal process is required.
Rally Point 1776 does not conduct transfers, approvals, background checks, legal reviews, or regulatory determinations.

Where applicable, Rally Point 1776 may require review, approval, or removal of listings at its discretion; however, such review does not constitute legal approval, verification of compliance, or endorsement of a transaction.

6. User Accounts and Content

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and all activity conducted through their accounts.

By submitting content, including listings, images, descriptions, comments, or other materials, users grant Rally Point 1776 permission to display and distribute that content through the Platform.

Users represent that they have the right to submit any content they upload and that their content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

7. No Guarantee of Transactions

Rally Point 1776 does not guarantee:

The accuracy of user listings.
The quality, condition, authenticity, or availability of listed items.
The ability of users to complete transactions.
Payment or delivery of items.
The conduct of buyers or sellers.

Users assume all risks associated with interacting with other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rally Point 1776 LLC shall not be responsible or liable for:

Any transaction between users.
Loss of money, property, or items.
Fraudulent activity by users.
Misrepresentation of listings.
Shipping issues.
Disputes between buyers and sellers.
Legal violations committed by users.
Damage resulting from reliance on information provided through the Platform.

Users agree that Rally Point 1776 provides an online community and classified listing platform only.

9. Content Moderation and Removal

Rally Point 1776 reserves the right to remove, restrict, or modify content or user access at its discretion.

Listings or accounts may be removed for reasons including:

Violations of these Terms.
Illegal activity.
Fraudulent behavior.
Misuse of the Platform.
Content that threatens the safety or integrity of the community.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Rally Point 1776 may require paid subscriptions.

Subscription payments are for access to platform services and features only.

Subscription fees:

Do not represent payment for listed items.
Do not create ownership rights in listed items.
Do not guarantee transactions.
Do not include transaction processing services.

Subscription terms, renewal schedules, and cancellation policies will be presented during the subscription process.

11. Third-Party Services

Rally Point 1776 may use third-party services for payment processing, hosting, analytics, communications, or other platform functionality.

Rally Point 1776 is not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of third-party services.

12. Changes to These Terms

Rally Point 1776 LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Changes become effective when posted on the Platform with an updated effective date.

Continued use of Rally Point 1776 after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination
